    Biography

    IRIE TIME® is a band of culturally-diverse musicians based in Houston, Texas, performing reggae and soca music. You can see a video from this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TAsNlWM7g0. The band’s CD releases consist of all original material, and the group continues to break into new musical terrain by means of their songwriting. Irie (pronounced ’eye-ree’) is a Jamaican patois word that means 'feeling great', and IRIE TIME’s music has been described as "a blend of reggae, soca and dub grooves that is just about as refreshing as a bottle of Ting grapefruit soda on a sweltering Trenchtown summer day." [The Houston Press] The band has been entertaining audiences for more than a decade.
